Award-Winning Short Film

"Themes & Variations" is a computer graphic short film based upon contemporary artworks from artists Yayoi Kusama and Ai Weiwei, the short film explored the infinite possibilities by using 3D digital art to create new “versions” of existing artworks.

While exploring the visual style of 3-D rendering and surrealistic atmosphere, "Themes & Variations" blurred the boundaries between imagination and existing contemporary artworks.

In this four minutes visual journey, these "new artworks" brought a completely new level of aesthetic experience to the audience.

Personal Works

3D artworks from the 2010s, capturing a transformative period where digital technique met artistic vision in explorations of form and space.

In the quiet of a desert night, a large, vertical structure with evenly spaced, horizontal light bands appears almost otherworldly against the natural backdrop. The landscape is serene with sparse vegetation and soft, sandy terrain, under a sky peppered with stars. The light from below casts dramatic shadows and highlights the textures of the desert floor, creating an interplay between the natural world and the striking artificiality of the monolith.
